The 2012 Sportsman and

Outdoor Recreation Awareness Day!

Was March 20th

SCOPE NY teamed up with Conservation and Sporting Clubs all over the state by providing bus transportation to and from Albany to visit legislators on what is becoming an annual event.
The Buffalo Gun Center, Alden Rod and Gun and East Aurora Fish and Game made significant donations to defray the cost of the bus. Please remember to say thank you.

2012 is going to be the most important election cycle of our lifetime.   The Anti Gun Crowd is not giving up and are intensifying their assault on our Constitutional Rights.

The NRA News intervierwed Assembly Woman Michelle Shimel and Michelle pretty much sums up what the anti-second amendment crowd feels. At the command o f Mayor Bloomberg, she dutifully proposes a micro stamping bill year after year. She does not understand it nor does she want to.
Here is the un cut version of a recent interview by NRA News and she
makes the following statement.
Some law abiding citizens must give up some of their liberty for the  common good.
She was referring to Gun Owners at the time but, her slant is typical of the progressive caucus under the tutelage of Chuckie Schumer and others in the Democratic Party.
Remember, Not all Democrats are Anti Gun, but 99% of all anti gunners are Democrat.

2012 Sportsman Day in Albany vs Anti Constitution Day by the Anti 2A

New Yorker Agains gun Violence held a gun control rally inside the Legislative Office Building to counter the Sportsmen Day Rally. The pictures below demonstrate how the Anti Gun Crowd is unable to demonstrate any sort of public support for their proposals. The anti constitution legislators are mostly from New York City and the supporters in the center top picture were all bussed in from New York City. Yet the antigun legislators and New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, continue to demand that the rest of the state comply to their draconian and oppressive gun control laws. The picutures below demonstrate where the public stands.
